Developing and implementing the marketing/innovation strategy 
As Marketing & Innovation Director, you will be responsible for defining the marketing and innovation strategy for Juhayna and will report directly to the CEO. You will play a leading role in the Executive Lead Team meetings and assist the CEO in reaching decisions on strategic choices. Furthermore, you will contribute in setting the vision, positioning and strategies for each of the categories. In this rapidly changing and growing market, you will set and implement the company’s product innovation plan with existing categories as well as explore new ones based on a thorough understanding of consumer trends within FMCG.



You will lead a marketing team of 20 dedicated employees out of the head office in Cairo in order to develop a robust marketing plan that provides the customers and consumers with a strong news flow via strong product initiatives, commercial innovation and differentiated customer/channel events. You will work closely with advertising and research agencies in developing the elements of the marketing plan, and ultimately make the decision on whom to work with. Everything is done with a high focus on securing the right brand economics, and reaching the set targets for market share and profitability.

 

Flexible and agile strategist with strong hands-on leadership skills
You probably hold a Master’s degree, MBA or similar in marketing and have combined your education with working in an international environment, preferably with knowledge of the Middle Eastern market. Your track record includes experience from the b-t-c/FMCG segment, and you have at least 5+ years of managerial responsibility and experience in developing products and market a brand.

You like to work vertically and horizontally with your tasks, and you thrive when pushed beyond your professional comfort zone. Being extrovert with solid social skills, you understand the challenges of working across cultures and languages. You are a strong leader and like to head implementations and reach your professional goals. At the same time, you are good at cooperating; yet you are a confident decision maker. In all, the Marketing & Innovation Director should act as a role model in collaboration and team building – leading others in building the desired company culture. Finally, you possess strong analytical skills when it comes to understanding the market and competitive landscape, and you are proficient in written and oral English.
